I am totally excited to be a panelist following the exclusive screening of Chasing Beauty, a documentary giving trend-setters a candid look at the beauty industry. Phoenix Fashion Week has partnered to present this film on Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at Scottsdale’s Studio Movie Grill…and get this: attendance is FREE.
Chasing Beauty features interviews with supermodels, photographers, agents, designers, plastic surgeons, makeup artists and psychologists to ask the questions…what is beauty and is it worth the cost? The film consists of intertwined stories about the pursuit of success in the fashion and beauty business and the collateral damage that sometimes occurs; clearly, the modeling world can be both treacherous and rewarding.
Following the 7:30pm screening, I’ll join a handful of my friends and colleagues for a round table discussion about the film. These Valley fashion experts include: Brittany Dawn Brannon (Miss Arizona USA 2011); Dr. Daniel Shapiro (Scottsdale Plastic Surgeon); Fawn Cheng (Personal Stylist); Joe Pier (photographer extraordinaire); Tracy Rasinski (FGI-Fashion Group International); and Dynelle Rodriguez (Phoenix Fashion Week Style Team).
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis; early arrival is encouraged!
To reserve your spot, e-mail: email@example.com and specify “Scottsdale Screening” in the subject line.
Hope to see you there!
