Nadine took the scenic route to Arizona…
She was born in Pennsylvania, but made her first cross-country trip at age two via the Golden State. She grew up in Los Gatos, California, a quaint town in the heart of Silicon Valley. As a child, instead of playing house, Nadine played TV reporter, in addition to establishing a sincere passion for writing, photography, and the art of networking.
Nadine hits Phoenix, Arizona airwaves every weekday morning as the traffic anchor on the CBS-5 Morning News. (She gets up at 3am!) She previously spent two years as a video-journalist at FOX-5, San Diego; there, she was a one-girl-band, shooting, editing, and reporting So-Cal stories. Prior to San Diego, Nadine was a main anchor and producer at the CBS affiliate in Yuma, Arizona. She also spent time working at KPIX, the CBS station in San Francisco, California.
Nadine received her Bachelor’s Degree in Radio/Television from San Francisco State University. She’s always been a lover of lifestyle, so enjoyed launching On The Scene with Nadine, her former online daily column for the Arizona Foothills Magazine website. That column ultimately sparked her entrepreneurial spirit, and so began NadineOnTheScene.com/NadineBubeck.com. Her blog-infused website serves as Nadine’s online notebook for tracking her experiences and endeavors, whether it be taste-testing new restaurants, exploring new places, or interviewing influential A-listers. She loves to incorporate video, as an on-air presence is naturally part of her persona.
Nadine also won Best Traffic Anchor and Most Fashionable News Anchor for Arizona Foothills Magazine’s ”Best Of 2013″ contest.
In April 2012, Nadine tied the knot, becoming a blushing newlywed overnight. Her special day was featured on TLC’s Four Weddings reality television show, and despite tying for 3rd place, Nadine says she won the grand price regardless: her happily ever after.
Nadine on the Scene has been featured in Mainstream Magazine, SheKnows.com, InWithSkin.com, among a handful of other websites and publications.
Say hello to Nadine at sporting events, festivals, and fundraisers. She loves being immersed in the community and spending time in the Arizona sun, especially with her dog, a Chow Chow named Blue.
